What does a "BEST FRIEND" means to me?

My answer is simply "IRISH SHOAF-VALBUENA". It is not just a simple name for me. That name has a wonderful meaning for me. A name with a priceless meaning of TRUE FRIENDSHIP. oh what a lovely name.. :) A one of a kind. Unique and awesome :) That name means a lot to me, she's been already part of my life :) I never had a friend like her :) She's my first best friend ever! swear! hahaha! If you dont believe me, come and ask my mom! hahaha! I think I won't be able to find someone else to replace her :) I feel so special every time she's calling me "sis" :) and she texted me once like this "goodmorning bestfriend!! :)" --ohhh wow! I felt so happy after reading that! hahaha! she just don't know that she makes me happy every time she calls me like that! :) with that simple words--it makes me happy! like super! hahaha! its not being "mababaw" but it means so much to me! :) I love her so much! :) My sister My bestfriend!

I'm really proud to say that I have someone like her... From the first time I saw her until now....... is one of the most wonderful blessing I received from GOD...I know and I'm sure that our firendship is not a coincidence..GOD really planned for it.. That's why I'm very thankful...

Our friendship wouldn't seem to be great as this without thanking her and letting her know how nice it is to have someone like her :) Thanks for everything!! :)

A friend you can trust is a priceless treasure. If you have a trustworthy friend, consider yourself wealthy and never take the friendship for granted. A genuine friend is not afraid to be honest with you. She'll be kind, but she won't dish out flattery in order to hold on to the friendship. in turn, a real friend will listen to truth, spoken love, and accept constructive criticism, even when it hurts. A true friend will be reliable. She'll not stab you in the back or spread gossip about you. The sign of authentic friend is that she puts your interests ahead of her own. Doesn't act out of selfish motives but one of genuine concern for you well-being. Wouldn't it be great to have a friend like that??

----Oh well! I'm so lucky to have a Friend like that! now you know! who she is :)

MY SWIMMING CAREER..

Way back 13 years ago, when I started to learn how to swim. My parents decided to enroll me in a swimming lesson due to my asthma condition. As I learn how to swim my parents and I saw the improvements in my health. It lessens my asthma attacks. AS time goes by, I'm already enjoying to be in a pool everyday and enjoying every strokes, not just because of my health problem but because swimming became my passion.

As I entered second year high school, I'm invited to join swimming competition representing my school. And its my first time to compete and luckily, I got the Most Valuable Player(MVP) award in that competition. After winning the said award, I was motivated to train harder so that I may compete not just in the area of Marikina, but also to compete in regional. There, I met my coach who made me more stronger and made me swim faster than before. I also met new friends/Swim mates.

After training so hard twice a day (morning and afternoon session),going to gym to gain more endurance, I already gained the confidence to compete in such big events. I won more medals and an MVP award again for the second time. I don't even expect to have some medals and an MVP award because I know there's more good than me. But I;m proud of myself that I did a great swim. I also made my family happy and proud as well.

As I continue to train and swim, I got my best time of 31 seconds. My specialty is Breast stroke.

And before I enter college, I got my last MVP award and that is also my last competition. Having the fact that nursing is a full load course there's no more time for me to swim. And I truly miss it :(
I also thank GOD for giving me such talent as a swimmer. I'm lucky to have it :)
The only diffrence between me and a mermaid is that i have legs to do flip turns with...

that's the end of my swimming career :)

Follow your HEART ♥♥♥

You are probably familiar with the statement, "To thine own heart be true" One of the ways we make our lives so complex is when we veer off course and ignore what is really important to us. If we put aside our own hearts and follow what the world thinks we should and ought to do, we will find ourselves unfulfilled and empty. Life will be tasteless. We will go through the motions, but nothing will satisfy us. What do you want out of life? Some people spend so much time meeting what they think their obligations are that they don't even know what they want..

When I ask what you want out of life, I am not talking about selfish desire; I am talking about heart desire. There is something deep in your heart GOD has planted there. Everyone is called and equipped to do something, and that includes you! It takes boldness to follow your heart instead of the crowd..

It is certainly not simple to have dreams and visions in your heart that you ignore and constantly try to push down while you simultaneously try to make yourself enjoy doing something you actually hate. You might think it will complicate your life if you end up making some people angry in order to follow your heart, but the truth is following your heart is absolutely necessary if you ever really intend to enjoy a simple life..
